Low Key Portrait Photography
I like this low key portrait because of how the subject is looking down and not directly at the camera like how most portraits are taken. I also like how almost everything is in shadow except for the highlights of his face, and how his hair blends in with the darkness. This portrait also seems to have a certain mood and air to it, as opposed to many portraits with no other significant meaning behind them.
High Key Portrait
I chose this as a high-key example because I like the different angle that the photographer chose, instead of the most common way of the model staring straight into the camera. I also like how the subject is on the side, instead of directly in the middle. I think it makes the composition more interesting.
Pinhole Photograph
This pinhole really caught my eye because it is of a city-scape, and i've always been interested in urban photography (as well as nature photos). I also really like this because it's an altered photograph. It appears to be double exposed, and done in a very interesting way--the 2 exposures, although very different, compliment eachother very well. It looks like a lot of thought was put into the making of this shot.
